This McLaren is the Hydra of cars but instead of chopping off one head and two more appearing, you fix one issue and two more arise.

The YouTuber has admitted he bought it knowing it had issues, but the pure levels of chaos that accompany the temu supercar are mind-blowing.

This Temu Mclaren is the perfect mix of design quirks, part failures and wear and tear, which means it will never truly be perfect – and that’s what makes it so fun.

The McLaren from Temu is the ‘gift that keeps on giving’

When this YouTuber bought his McLaren off of Temu, he knew it was going to come with some issues, but it was clear that he didn’t quite know the extent of the problems he was going to face when it came to it.

Every time one problem is fixed with the supercar, it seems many more arise, like the driver’s side cooling fan repeatedly failing, the circlip breaking, and then the spindle re-broke.

Every time he attempts to fix the fan, it breaks all over again or parts of it melt and sourcing new parts for a proper 650S fan has turned out to be extremely difficult.

After he disassembled a lot of the parts, he seems to have the true root cause which is the worn down and melted spindle, which was probably caused by repeated overheating, failures and then not being fully fixed.

While using this troubleshooting to fix the fan, he realises that the lower front left arm ball joint was completely bent out of shape, showing that while repairing a problem, he always seems to find loads more.

After the discovery of the failing gas struts and a coolant leak, this McLaren from Temu was declared the ‘gift that keeps on giving’ in terms of constant repairs.
