An American YouTuber was told how much it would cost to fix everything on his Chevrolet Avalanche, and he was astounded by how much it would cost.
YouTuber Tyler Hoover of Hoovies Garage had bought the Avalanche with 320,000 miles on the clock.
The pickup/SUV crossover was taken to the Car Wizard’s garage to work out the cost, and it was well over $7,500 to fix all its issues.
Cue some surprise and slight stress over the price, something you might expect for such a high-mileage Chevrolet.

Hoover revealed what needed changing on his Avalanche
Hoover paid just $3,500 for the car, but its high mileage was a reason for its very low price.
To be precise, it had 326,000 miles when he bought it.
But while the engine looked fine, the suspension had some issues.
The Car Wizard has already fixed a few problems with the Avalanche, such as a leaking radiator, and removed the lift kit that was on it.
The kit included larger wheels and tires.
But they had been stressing out some parts of the Avalanche, hence their removal.
A new fuel pump, repaired dashboard, and a replacement bed cover were also added to the truck/SUV crossover.
Hoover had told the Car Wizard to fix everything on the truck, and that’s what led to the high repair price.

In the office, the Car Wizard gave Hoover the final invoice, and he was in for a shock.
The invoice was three pages long.
Hoover saw other issues that needed fixing, such as the air-conditioning and replacement panel brackets.
Upon seeing the final cost, Hoover revealed it as $7,44,30.
He was stunned at how expensive the bill had become.
His mechanic friend revealed that as they went around fixing issues, another one would crop up with the Chevy.
That is what added up to the hefty repair bill, with the original owner of the truck having never fixed any of its issues.
The Chevrolet Avalanche had been a one-owner vehicle until Hoover got his hands on it, but it came back to bite him.
In total, the Avalanche has cost him around $11,000!
