Supercar enthusiast and YouTuber Manny Khoshbin has a huge collection of performance cars, including the Bolide.

One of his recent videos revealed the astonishing fact about the track-only hypercar, which is one of the fastest and most powerful ever made.

Khoshbin had read through the Bugatti’s owner’s manual from start to finish, to find out as much about the car as possible.

The Bolide needs regular tire swaps

Being a track-focused hypercar, the Bugatti will use its tires up quicker than a road car.

The downforce and sheer energy of the car will take more life out of the tires.

Hence, the need for them to be replaced so frequently.

The car actually comes with two sets of tires.

One is a set of skinny, grooved tires, used to transport the car to and from the venue it is heading to.

The others are slick tires, providing the ultimate levels of grip on the racetrack.

With only 36 miles achieved before they wear out, and with a cost of $8,000 each, they certainly don’t make the Bolide affordable to run.

Yet there is no denying just how powerful and fast the track-only Bugatti is.

Despite the cost of the tires, the Bolide is still a truly epic hypercar.

It’s capable of going at 311MPH, although it’s not likely to reach that speed during racing.

The engine runs on 110-octane, and has an 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16, as we have seen in other Bugattis.

In the Bolide, however, it can make up to 1,578HP and 1,180LB-FT of torque.

With so much power and torque, it’s no wonder the tires don’t last that long!

Also, as Khoshbin said in his video, the Bolide is not an economical car to run.

The fuel tank will empty after just 57 miles, and it does only 3MPG with its 19-gallon fuel tank.

The Bolide is possibly the wildest car that Bugatti has ever made, and it has some pretty outrageous statistics to back that up.
