An American YouTuber surprised Uber passengers by turning up in a Tesla Cybertruck and their reactions were brilliant.
Content creator FaZe Rug rented a Cybertruck for the day in March last year and decided to use it to give Uber riders a surprise.
As you can imagine, the average Uber rider wasn’t prepared for the futuristic truck to turn up.
And that led to some pretty awesome reactions.

The YouTuber wanted honest opinions about the Cybertruck
Before he began his trips, FaZe took some time to share his favorite features about the EV truck – admitting that he thinks the unusual-looking Cybetruck is ‘beautiful’.
The YouTuber said he was debating buying himself a Cybertuck and that he hoped the rental would help him make up his mind.
From the start, he seemed to be impressed – noting the truck’s roominess and the fact that it’s practically indestructible.
“I like the minimalistic feel of it too, like you just have a big screen right here,” he said as he sat behind the wheel. “You have a ton of leg room as you can see.”
While FaZe appeared to have made his own feelings clear, he was keen to find out what others thought about the truck and headed to a beach to garner public opinion.
He made a simple sign that read, ‘Do you like this car? Yes or no’ and then propped it up on a table alongside two bowls – one marked ‘yes’ and one marked ‘no’ – and a bunch of table tennis balls for people to cast their votes.
Despite FaZe thinking he was going into it as the ‘underdog’, most folks said they liked the look of the Tesla Cybertruck.
He decided to surprise some Uber riders
After spending most of the day playing around with the Cybertruck, he decided to use it to surprise Uber riders.
“How would you react if you called an Uber, and your Uber driver pulls up in a Tesla Cybertruck?” he asked.
Well, it turns out that most people act surprised – very surprised.
The first Uber rider – a guy called Mark – at first seemed slightly reluctant to hop into the giant Tesla but was almost immediately won over once he was inside.
Much like FaZe he was a big fan of the futuristic-look of the truck and seemed delighted to be given a chance to ride in it.
“It’s going to be hard to go back to any other Uber,” Mark said.
Next up, a trio of women got in, but they seemed less enamored with the Tesla Cybertruck than Mark, and were not won over by its minimalistic interiors.
However, they were left impressed by the truck’s karaoke mode and ended up giving the Uber ride a ’10 out of 10′.
