He had to learn how to fix a hybrid car as he’d never dealt with one quite like this before and it was a lot trickier than it looked.

The YouTuber completely reassembled large parts of the supercar, including the front subframe, suspension, and cooling system.

Even after replacing and repairing so much of the supercar, it still wouldn’t start, leaving the team scratching their heads in confusion.

What you get when you pay $39,000 for a Lamborghini Revuelto

This British YouTuber managed to get his hands on a $777,000 Lamborghini Revuelto for a mere fraction of the price – $39,000.

It seems like the bargain of the century until you see the state of the poor supercar. It can barely even be described as a car at this point.

The crash-damaged Revuelto looks like some giant monster has taken a big bite out of the hood and left only carnage behind.

The YouTuber, Mat Armstrong, started his journey by assessing the extent of the damage.

Now, though, it was time to truly get to work by attempting to fix the damage, starting with the hybrid’s cooling system. All this despite never having fixed a hybrid before.

To make the supercar look less like it’s been attacked by a violent monster, Mat started reattaching the car’s subframe.

Mat and his team replaced and reassembled the supercar’s front suspension, steering rack, cooling system, oil lanes, and coolant pipes.

They also reattached the front frame, making sure that everything. That included making sure the radiators and components for air conditioning were properly installed.

When it came to trying out the supercar on its first test drive, though, it was…less than successful. The team was left completely stumped trying to work out why it wouldn’t start.

The team suspected that a high-voltage fuse has triggered a safety shutdown due to the fact the supercar was in a crash, with various commenters trying to work out what the issue could be.

It took a massive team effort but, for now, this Lamborghini Revuelto is completely unfixable.
