It’s also in really bad shape, but the guys who found it believe it may be salvageable.
The problem is its condition is really dire, especially on the passenger side.

Can this VW Bus be saved?
The guys from the Restored YouTube channel are determined to restore this Volkswagen Bus, but it’s going to be difficult.
The Bus is in terrible condition overall, but the passenger side is even worse.
The door literally comes off.
In the clip, you can see how easily one of the guys from the Restored team simply removes it by pulling it outwards.
The bench-style seat at the front is totally destroyed as well.

Volkswagen put its name on a long list of best-selling vehicles that gave a significant contribution to automotive history.
The Volkswagen Bus might not be the most famous, or popular in terms of sales, but it is one of the coolest.
Probably precisely because it isn’t a car, and car lovers tend to love vehicles that lend themselves well to RV-style projects.
Even Steve Jobs had one.
This is a 15-window Deluxe model, which makes it rarer than most, and potentially valuable.
Clearly, it needs a lot of work.
We don’t even want to imagine what’s going on underneath the body, which is already ruined to begin with, and with the engine.
But we’ve learned how anything is possible when it comes to the VW Bus.
We’ve seen one converted into an eight-wheel monster on tracks, so if that’s possible, bringing this particular 15-window Bus back to life should also be doable.
