An American from Utah made big bucks after flipping junk vehicles at an auction no one wanted, such as a Chevrolet and Harley-Davidson.

YouTuber David Sparks, or HeavyDSparks, made nearly $60,000 from the venture and was naturally ecstatic at having done so.

The cars involved were either regular daily drivers, including a Chevrolet, to utility vehicles, such as a huge heavy hauler.

Having bought the cars on the cheap, it’s little wonder that Sparks was so happy about having made so much money with what other people considered junk.

What vehicles did Sparks buy at the auction?

The vehicles bought included a 2009 Chevrolet Suburban, 2015 Freightliner Cascadia, 2018 Kenworth T660, 2009 International 4300, and a 2022 Ford F550.

The final vehicle was a 2020 Harley-Davidson, with a 2019 Cricut Trek trailer, the oddity of the bunch.

Seven vehicles in total, with four of the offers accepted almost instantly.

Sparks also had a quick scout of some of the other vehicles at the auction lot, including a Jeep SUV and even a few motorhomes.

The YouTuber paid very little for each vehicle, with the Cascadia truck costing him just $8,500.

He wasn’t able to buy a couple of the vehicles, however, the Kenworth and the International 4300.

The seller of the Ford pickup truck also declined the Sparks’s offer.

Despite not getting three of the seven vehicles, the YouTuber was still happy with what he paid for those he did get.

Sparks was extra happy after finding out some of them worked with no issues.

The massive Freightliner, for example, easily ran and drove.

The Harley-Davidson and Chevrolet proved problematic, but overall, the YouTuber was happy with his investment.

After a fair bit of work, Sparks was able to put the vehicles up for sale to see what he could get for them.

The trailer sold for $13,000 after he bought it for $7k.

The Suburban was bought for $4,000 and sold for $8,000.

Even with the money spent fixing it, the YouTuber still made a $2,300 profit on the Chevrolet.

In total, Sparks made a handy $59,000 from his junkyard finds.

Not bad for a bunch of vehicles nobody else wanted!
