It was great, but it was also pretty terrible at the same time.
Let’s put it this way, we admire the effort, and the result.

This DIY Cybertruck is both good and bad, and here’s why
Jake Carlini, a creator on YouTube, decided to build his own DIY Cybertruck using bits he scavenged here and there.
The result was both bad and good – and hilarious – and here’s why.
Let’s start with the shape, the proportions and the color, which are all indeed very Cybertruck-esque.
The ‘chassis’, if we can call it that, is made using wood planks, and the engine comes from a tiny electric motorcycle.
Still at least the seat, there’s technically only one, is indeed from the car.
As a cherry on top of the cake, Carlini gave the truck dihedral (kind of like gullwing) doors, like a McLaren.
The DIY vehicle looks funky, and interesting, but it’s not exactly road-worthy, partly because it’s too slow, but also because it keeps breaking down.
Still cool, though.
When people build their own Cybertrucks
Several people built their own DIY Cybertrucks in the past.
A while back, somebody built one made entirely out of wood, and the result was so impressive even Elon Musk responded.
Then there’s Siber Truck, a parody vehicle created by a guy who goes by Ginger Billy on YouTube.
Mind you, the most incredible DIY Cybertruck we’ve seen is probably the one created by a guy who goes by Inside Edition on YouTube.
It’s built using the Ford F-150 as a ‘donor’ vehicle, and – as you can see from the picture above – it looks almost exactly like the real thing.
