Croatia’s premier EV brand has managed to produce a 1,888bhp hypercar.

A YouTuber recently hit the track in one such Nevera.

And the speed of this electric beast makes BMW’s and Porsches look slow.

Rimac Nevera makes a big statement

Rimac is a brand that has truly made waves within the global car world.

It burst onto the scene in 2013 with the Rimac Concept One.

Back in 2018, its latest, all-EV offering was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show as the Rimac C_Two.

Upon official launch, Rimac would describe the Nevera as a ‘pursuit of the ultimate electric hypercar driving experience’.

And Rimac would remain pretty true to its word, with the Nevera wowing the masses.

What makes the Nevera even more fascinating is the car it shares a platform with.

The Rimac Nevera is built on the same platform as the Pininfarina Battista.

Like the Nevera, its factory neighbour also serves as an elite EV hypercar.

And the real-world performance of the Nevera more than backs up the hype.

Until very recently, the Rimac Nevera held the EV record at the Nurburgring.

Conquering the 13-mile track is no mean feat at all – especially for an EV.

So one YouTuber decided to hit the Nurburgring to experience the speed for himself.

In a recent video, Misha Charoudin found himself in the passenger seat of the Rimac Nevera.

The YouTuber got to experience the EV’s insane performance from the second-best seat in the house.

During the course of the lap, fast BMWs and Porsches are left in the Rimac’s metaphorical dust.

The Nevera’s range drops from 64 percent to 30 percent in the course of just one lap.

But it is more than worth it – especially when the Rimac Nevera tops 202mph on the straight.

The Rimac Nevera remains a prime example of what pushing boundaries can achieve.
