This custom Mercedes G-Wagen from Urban Automotive is the ultimate Mercedes SUV and takes the German icon to a new level.

The exceptional G-Wagen Widetrack, as it’s known, is about ‘ultimate road domination’, with extensive upgrades elevating its performance.

The changes don’t just extend to the exterior either, but also to the mechanical components of the Mercedes luxury SUV.

Urban Automotive hopes that the changes made will enhance the performance of the SUV both on the road, and on off-road trails as well.

When it comes to off-road performance, the biggest change to the SUV is the new 50mm widened track.

That adds extra versatility to the Mercedes G-Wagen off-road and gives the SUV a bulkier, more aggressive stance.

Wider wheel arches allow for more travel within them from the wheels.

The extra size of the arches also means larger tires can be added to the G-Wagen.

All of the carbon fiber parts for the SUV are made in the UK, and it takes 450 man-hours to hand craft the G-Wagens.

For those who like customization, various designs of 23-inch forged alloy wheels are also added.

Plus, there is a Valvesonic quad-exhaust system for more noise and a bit of extra performance.

The upgraded G-Wagen also has various styling options, thanks to Urban.

There is a new carbon fiber front hood, as well as an optional black mesh or a carbon fiber blade finish.

At the front and rear, carbon fiber bumpers are available, and there’s a new carbon rear diffuser.

In fact, virtually every new component is formed of carbon fiber.

Urban also allows for various designs to be made available for the G-Wagen.

These range from gloss black or satin, as well as satin or glass exposed carbon fiber.

In total, Urban says there are 52 complex carbon fiber components made for their Urban Widetrack.

Should that not be enough, there is also a handful of carbon fiber accessories available to the buyer.

These include the bullnose bonnet, C-pillar vents, and even the rear wheel cover and indicator surrounds.

So if you like the Mercedes G-Wagen and carbon fiber, the Urban Widetrack is the luxury SUV for you!
