A company called delta4x4 created a custom off-road kit for the Ferrari Purosangue SUV.
Enzo Ferrari probably wouldn’t be happy with this, but Ferrari customers might.
It looks tremendous, in a ‘what-the-flipping-heck-is-going-on-here’ kind of way.
But it also looks somehow heathen.

A proper off-roader
The German tuner wants to turn the Purosangue into a ‘proper’, Dakar-really off-roader.
In order to do that, they started by putting a spare tire at the back, a roof rack with room for jerrycans and even a rack on the back where you can put…a shovel?
Sure, why not?
At the front, you’ve got four extra lamps and on the side, you’ve got off-road, closed-off wheels.
The paint is equally unorthodox, with a two-tone livery that’s vaguely reminiscent of an era when you could sport color options inspired by tobacco brands.
If you’re seeing Marlboro, you’re not the only one.
The story behind the Ferrari Purosangue
Ferrari is a bit like Apple, in that both don’t necessarily care about being the first, but they want to be the best.
The Purosangue is Ferrari’s first SUV, but it isn’t the first luxury SUV – not even close.
Just about every other luxury brand you can think managed to ‘beat’ Ferrari to it.
Porsche was the first with Cayenne, followed – in no particular order – by the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus.
The one thing everyone agrees on, from Bentley to Lamborghini, is these SUVs are top sellers.
Everyone wants one, including celebrities.
Cristiano Ronaldo owns a Purosangue and Drake owns a Cullinan, and the list goes on.
In fact, the only brand that hasn’t made an SUV yet is McLaren, and the CEO is adamant they’re not even thinking about it.
At least for now.
