This is a 2021 Aston Martin DB5 Continuation Goldfinger, possibly the ultimate James Bond car.

It’s packed with Bond gadgets, including oil slick cannons, simulation machine guns and a bulletproof screen.

Only 25 were ever built.

And this one is available right now on SBX Cars.

This being a Continuation model, everything is period-correct and as close as possible to the original.

That’s including the engine, which is a 4.0-liter, 290-horsepower inline-six engine, with carburetors, and a 5-speed manual transmission.

The car was built by Aston to exacting original DB5 specification, and EON Productions, the company that produces James Bond films, indirectly contributed with custom James Bond gadgetry.

It’s a long (and amazing) list.

Among other things, you get a fog machine, a smoke screen delivery system, a oil slick delivery system, revolving number plates and (fake) Browning machine guns.

It also has a removable ejection seat roof panel, even though the seat obviously does not eject.

Why the DB5 is the most iconic car James Bond car

The world’s most famous spy has driven several different Aston Martin models over the years, but most people would argue that no other car is as iconic as the DB5.

The Aston Martin DB5 first appeared in the 1964 movie Goldfinger, starring Sean Connery as 007.

Four DB5s were used for that movie, including two just for promotional purposes, but only one had all the cool 007 gadgets.

The same exact car was used in Thunderball one year later, and then other DB5 models were used in GoldenEye and Tomorrow Never Dies.

The DB5 also featured in three out of five 007 movies with Daniel Craig as Bond, namely Skyfall, Spectre and No Time To Die.
