The Dodge Durango is quite a beast on its own, but after these lads scooped up one in a wreck, they decided to take things up a notch.
Not only are they restoring it to its full potential, but they are also going above and beyond with new mods.
However, they are now fearing that the original owner wants to buy it back after its makeover.

This Hellcat Durango rebuild is quite the monster
The Dodge Durango already has a beefy build, as the manufacturers confirmed that it will be sticking with the Hemi V8 engines going into 2025 production/
That’s despite other Dodge cars being criticized for their switch to electric motors.
But the team over at ‘goonzquad‘ has taken one previously-wrecked Hellcat Durango and made it even juicier.
The rebuild, which took a matter of days, mostly involved recovering the front end which was smashed to smithereens.
Some extra engine work was needed to make sure the Hellcat upgrade kit still purred as loudly as it should do.
But, the modifications didn’t stop there as inserted a widebody kit to its rear to make it look ‘just as good as the Demon or widebody Charger’.
Other additions such as an ‘aggressive’ new front bumper and grille made it look quite the animal.
Celebrity comedian wants his Hellcat back
Usually, the YouTube mechanics try to keep the rebuild projects that they love the most, and while they already have a Durango, it looks like this widebody Hellcat variant won’t be staying parked in their yard.
Instead, the previous owner – celebrity comedian Desi Banks – has claimed he wants to buy it back off them.
While the video ended without the Hellcat Durango going back to its original celebrity owner, the car itself was on full display after just two days’ worth of grafting.
Having bought it for just shy of $30,000, this modded beauty might just reap its rewards in green paper.
Other Dodge Hellcat transformations haven’t been quite as fruitful…
