The miniaturized Ferrari 12Cilindrs are created by Amalgam Collection – a company that works ‘directly with the Ferrari Factory’.

This means that every single detail is spot-on and the models look as though a 12Cilindri has been hit by a shrink-ray.

Such attention to detail requires skill and patience, the company says it takes around 3,000 hours of development to get the model looking right and then 300 hours of hand assembly.

Unveiled back in May as a successor to the 812 Superfast, the 12Cilindri is Ferrari’s newest flagship 12-cylinder supercar.

As the name suggests, the supercar has a V12 under the hood, meaning you’ll get plenty of power behind the wheel.

The 6.5-liter can produce a heart producing 819 horsepower.

It can hit 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds and 0-125 mph (200 km/h) in 7.8 seconds, with a top speed of 217 mph – or 350 km/h.

But if your budget can’t quite stretch to the real deal, then why not check out the Amalgam Collection’s spot-on scale models?

The company has managed to perfectly shrink the 12Cilindri’s proportions – offering either a 1:8 or 1:18 scaled model.

The models look the part because Amalgam work in collaboration with Ferrari’s Maranello team.

“We work directly with the Ferrari factory, as well as with [other manufacturers], to make sure our scale models look just like they do on the real car,” Amalgam’s founder Sandy Copeman told Robb Report.

“Our relationship with Ferrari opens the door to having information early on and having opportunities to collaborate with them.”

Copeman said the company had access to the marque’s  CAD files that were used when making the full-size 12Cilindri and were able to create identical – but much smaller – versions via 3D printing.

The finished models are the product of thousands of hours of development, plus a whopping 300 hours hand assembly – and only 199 will be made.

And such craftsmanship doesn’t come cheap.

The smaller 1:18 scale model costs $1,330, while a 1:8 12Cilindri in Rosso Imola with Blue Sterling interior costs $18,220, or you can get a bespoke configuration for $25,510.
