This bespoke Ford Granada, sometimes known as the Tickford Granada, is believed to have been commissioned by the British royal family.

According to the myth, the car was commissioned by the late Queen Elizabeth II herself.

Although, some people claim it was actually her son, King Charles III.

No one knows exactly what happened, so the mystery is still unsolved.

The story behind this Ford Granada, and why they call it Tickford Granada

The vehicle was reportedly commissioned by the late Queen of England.

She wanted a Ford Granada with Aston Martin elements, and this explains the Balmoral Green paint, the Connolly leather interior, and the wool carpets.

They sometimes call it the Tickford Granada because some people believe it was customized by Aston Martin Tickford, a subsidiary known for customizing Ford vehicles, but others say it was actually Aston Martin Works.

Today, the Queen is no longer here, and we doubt if confirming whether or not this Ford Granada is a Royal vehicle is high on King Charles III’s list of priorities.

Car and Classic

The car collection of the British Royal Family

Everything members of the British Royal Family do has to follow protocol, and this applies to their cars as well, but you can still find some pretty interesting vehicles in their collection.

The Queen used to use a custom Bentley, which is worth around the same as a Bentley, as well as a custom Range Rover, which was recently bought by a billionaire.

Then there’s the Royal car that fascinates people more than any other Royal vehicle.

It’s the famous Rolls-Royce Phantom V that the Queen used during official visits to Wales, known as KG1.

This Rolls-Royce hasn’t been used in 22 years.
