This is the new Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo, arguably the most extreme Ferrari 296 ever made.
It features upgraded aero, cooling and suspension.
The good news is you can even buy it as an upgrade kit if you already have a 296 GT3.
But there’s bad news, too.

One of the most extreme Ferraris ever
The new Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo is the most extreme, 296 ever created, even more track-focused than the Speciale Piloti, which is so extreme you need a special license to drive it.
As for the 296 GT3 Evo, it uses the same 3-liter twin-turbo V6 as the ‘standard’ supercar (with 591 horsepower), but the automaker changed the gear ratio for better torque delivery.
Ferrari hasn’t said anything about the electric motors, so presumably they didn’t make any changes to those either.
Ferrari also redesigned the hood and the (massive) rear wing to improve its aerodynamic abilities.
Even Max Verstappen, who was (surprisingly) recently spotted testing a Ferrari 296, will love it.
Inside, you’ll find a cabin that’ll make you feel like you’re in a race car.
The passenger seat is gone, as is the infotainment system, as is everything else.
You get an F1-style steering wheel, a (very thin) bucket seat for the driver and a digital cluster and that’s about it.
This brings us on to the inevitable catch.
The catch is this is a race car that’s not street-legal, and that can only be used in FIA-sanctioned races.
About the Ferrari 296
The Ferrari 296 was unveiled in 2022 as a replacement for the old F8.
It’s powered by a new twin-turbo V6 which, when combined with the electric motors, produces a grand total of 819 horsepower.
It’s more powerful than the Ferrari F8’s V8 unit, even though it’s smaller.
Sign of the times.
