The new Bentley Bentayga Speed is here and it’s not a hybrid.

Bentley developed a couple of different engines to replace the now-discontinued W12 unit.
Some of them are hybrids, but this one isn’t.
This one is a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 with 641HP, which is more than the old W12 could muster.
It does 0-60MPH in 3.4 seconds, which isn’t bad for a car that weighs more or less the same as the moon.
Even though it’s an SUV, Bentley made it a bit more performance-friendly with the new suspension and even a new launch control.
Bentley also fitted a new sports exhaust courtesy of Akrapovič, with four quad tailpipes, because two is better than one and four is better than two.
There are new wheels too, and they’re massive at 23 inches.
But they look good mainly because the new Bentley Bentayga Speed is not a small car.
You also get new black roof options, new taillights, and a new matrix grille.
The Bentley Bentayga is an absolute best seller.
It was the best-selling Bentley vehicle last year, by a huge margin, considering it accounted for 41 percent of total sales.
It was followed by the Continental GT and GTC, and then the Flying Spur.
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, as they say, and the Bentley Bentayga Speed didn’t need fixing, which is why they just made it a bit better with small changes rather than big ones.
One thing about it is still big, though, and that’s the price.
The retail price hasn’t been revealed yet, but we can probably expect it to start at around $300,000.
