The Hennessey Venom F5 line-up is a formidable family of hypercars – packing in enough power and speed to keep even the most ardent of thrill-seekers happy.

The original Hennessey Venom F5 was launched in 2020 as a fitting successor to the Hennessey Venom GT.

The F5 in its name is a reference to the Fujita tornado scale, which places F5 at the top with winds hitting speeds of 420–512 km/h (261–318 mph).

Hennessey aims to have its cars hit similar high speeds in the quest to claim the title of the world’s fastest production car.

The  Hennessey Venom F5 line-up kicked off with the Coupe – a stunning-looking vehicle that is ‘shaped by aerodynamics and inspired by the pursuit of speed’.

And with just 25 Venom F5s produced they’re as rare as they are powerful.

When the vehicle launched, Hennessey made it clear the marque had its sights set on knocking Bugatti off the top spot for the world’s fastest production car.

Currently, the Bugatti Chiron Supersport 300+ is the fastest, with a top speed of 490.24 km/h (304.77 mph) – but Hennessey revealed it had plans to beat that record in 2024.

And it’s not like Hennessey doesn’t have the requisite experience in this arena.

Back in February 2014, the company’s Venom GT became the world’s fastest production car achieving a 435.31 km/h (270.49 mph) top speed.

And on July 30, 2024, the Venom F5 broke the standing 1⁄2 mile (805 m) record with a time of 14.44 seconds at 353km/h (219mph).

The Coupe was followed by the Venom F5 Roadster – a bespoke mid-engine hypercar that offers the ‘world’s most exhilarating open-air driving experience’. Bold claim.

The Roadster is every bit as mean-looking as the Coupe and comes with a reimagined roof made from rigid carbon fiber composites that can be removed allowing for that ‘exhilarating open-air driving experience’ we’ve heard so much about.

Under the hood, the Roadster’s 6.6 liter twin turbo V8 produces a whopping 1,817 horsepower.

And just last month, Hennessey unveiled its Venom F5-M Roadster – the world’s most powerful manual car.

The Venom F5-M Roadster produces 1,817 horsepower, which is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmissions.

And to keep things nice and exclusive, just 12 of the F5-M Roadsters will be built.
