An American man from Texas bought a herd of classic cars from an estate and found a crowning jewel Chevrolet locked in a barn.
eBay seller marrus81 bought the cars from Oklahoma. They’d all spent many years just sitting around doing nothing and gathering dust.
Multiple cars were bought, and the seller is now listing a couple of them for sale on eBay.
The highlight, however, is this 1972 Chevrolet Nova, which has a few interesting details and was the crown jewel of the collection.

This 1972 Chevy Nova spent many years locked inside a barn.
Incredibly, the seller actually discovered the car after the estate sale.
Much like this 1972 Nova, which was hidden for over 30 years, the Chevy been parked in a barn. So, the eBay user put in an offer for it and got it, joining a few other cars he bought that day.
Initially, he was going to sell it in the condition it was pulled out of the barn in.
But the seller decided to give the Nova a second chance.
He decided to spend some money on the car to see if it would run without too much work required.
Like with this Ferrari barn find, after a small amount of work, the Nova did indeed fire up once again.
The car ran via a clean fuel source, and not directly from the gas tank.
A fix to the transmission shifter cable also enabled the car to easily change between gears.
The car’s listing states that the engine runs well and sounds good and that the Nova is incredibly rust-free.
The only thing that the seller states he did with the car, is give it a bath and clean, and get it up and running again.
Under the hood of the Nova is a 350ci 5.7-liter V8 engine, which is in very good condition.
The car clearly needs a bit more work done to it, and there will be other problems the seller hasn’t mentioned.
At the time of writing, the 1972 Nova was standing at $8,700.
However, it had not yet reached its reserve.
So it is unclear as to how much exactly the Chevy Nova will sell for.
