Despite all of its success, Tesla is in a challenging moment just now regarding overall sales and sales for the Cybertruck.
Naturally, the EV manufacturer is keen to boost those figures and has decided to get creative.
To do that, it is now offering free Supercharging to some of its customers who buy the most expensive version of the Cybertruck.
Those tempted by this deal, however, will have to fork out nearly $100,000 for that privilege.

The offer applies to Foundation Series Cybertrucks
The offer of free Supercharging currently applies to the Foundation Series Cybertrucks in the range.
That version of the Tesla EV starts at $95,000 full retail price.
The extra caveat is that the Supercharging offer only applies to those Cybertrucks bought after February 28th.
However, the flip side is that the offer is valid for the entire period of ownership.
Not bad, right?
The company also states on its website that it is a lifetime offer, provided you don’t sell the vehicle.
Should you do so, the free offer can’t be transferred to the Cybertruck’s new owner.
However, the manufacturer has stated that should they deem the consumer is using ‘excessive charging,’ then they reserve the right to revoke the offer.
There is no clarification about exactly what ‘excessive’ charging means, though.
Tesla is trying to increase sales of the Cybertruck
It’s no secret that Tesla isn’t happy with its current sales figures, including those of Cybertruck.
The offer of free Supercharging is just the latest from the manufacturer as it tries to drum up some business.
Previously, Tesla had begun offering $1,600 off new Cybertrucks and said it would charge $2,600 for used vehicles.
Adding to that was a slashing of leasing prices, with the EV manufacturer reducing those by $750 monthly.
However, none of that appears to be helping them out.
At the minute, Tesla is having a particularly tough time in Europe for reasons involving – but not exclusive to – the controversial figurehead of the company, Elon Musk.
As a result of those factors, demand for Tesla pickup trucks has dropped
Musk’s company might have to offer more than free charging for its customers if it is to bounce back to where it previously was.
