Tesla has upgraded the Model S and Model X electric cars in the US – but prices have been raised.

The EVs have been given a facelift for the second half of 2025.

New suspension, lighting, and a fancy paint color are sure to delight EV fans.

However, these new perks, set to elevate a driver’s experience of the car, come at a price.

Tesla is a giant in the EV world.

The car manufacturer is known by gearheads all around the world.

From the standard daily drivers like the Model Y to the always-talked-about Cybertruck, its fleet contains a lot of variety.

The company is even setting the driverless taxi benchmark by releasing its first Robotaxi on the streets of Austin this month, which could change taxi travel forever.

As well as that, there are imitators arising.

This Californian man is even building a unique Tesla Cyberplaid from a Cybertruck and Model S Plaid.

But now, the real deal has announced significant upgrades to two members of its fleet.

The company announced the exciting new details yesterday via X.

“Model S & X are now even better – launching today in the US,” the company said.

Upon first glance, the features are really impressive.

There’s a new Frost Blue paint color on offer, which is sure to delight gearheads.

Other upgrades include an increased range to make roadtrips even more worthwhile, thanks to the Model S Long Range, which they claim is the longest-range Tesla ever.

There are new wheel designs, adaptive driving beams, and new ‘exterior styling for Model S Plaid, optimized for high-speed stability’.

Plus, inside the cabin is even quieter than ever before, with less wind and road noise and even more successful Active Noise Cancellation.

But, all these flashy new elements will come at a cost. “The all-wheel drive version of Model X costs $89,990, while its plaid variant is priced at $104,990. The Model S all-wheel drive now costs $84,990 and its plaid variant is $99,990,” Reuters reports.

There are also adaptive beams and a new suspension design, so bumpy rides will be a thing of the past.
