They’ve been compared on various metrics, whether it be price or towing capabilities.
But the most stark contrast between them is probably their physicality.

The biggest difference between a Tesla Cybertruck and a Rivian R1T
When you think of electric trucks, the Cybertruck and Rivian R1T will immediately spring to mind.
The two are certainly rivals, and have been compared on various fronts over the years.
You may recall that one guy tested their ranges in tough weather conditions.
They’ve also faced off in a tug of war, and on off-roading.
One study found that the Cybertruck was more popular than the R1T.
But of all the comparisons over the years, one is starker than all the rest.
A photo was shared to the Cybertruck Owners Club forum, which showed the two vehicles side by side at a charging station.
The photo was taken from the back and provided the most clear-cut comparison between the two.
Whilst the R1T has a more traditional truck design, the Cybertruck has sharp angles and looks positively sci-fi.
The former truck is also bigger and narrower than the latter.
Where the Cybertruck does win out in measurements is that it is wider.
The electric truck rivalry that won’t go away
Which is the better truck out of the two is a matter of opinion.
But one clear winner in this match-up is the environment.
According to the Environmental Protection Agency, light-duty vehicles truck like pickup trucks account for 58 percent of dirty-fuel pollution in the transportation section.
The increasing popularity of electric trucks can only be a good thing in terms of reducing vehicular pollution.

You may recall the Iranian scientist Alaeddin Qassemi, who made a car that could run on water from his garden hose.
Then of course, there are hydrogen cars.
But the primary issue facing drivers of EVs and hydrogen cars is the lack of chargers in certain areas.
One Toyota Mirai owner highlighted this issue, when he noted that most states in the US didn’t have a station.
Of the 59 fueling stations in the country, the vast majority were in California and one was in Hawaii.
