Winston was just a teenager when he bought the car for just $15,000 from Geico to rebuild it.

While working on the car, he plugged in a USB drive to retrieve data from the built-in computer and was surprised at what he saw.

The footage showed how the car was involved in a T-bone collision, revealing the moment it happened.

Wrecked Tesla Model 3 with a surprise

Winston had been a Tesla fan ever since he started watching the videos by popular creator, Rich Rebuilds.

His passion for rebuilding Teslas caught the attention of his parents, who encouraged him to restore one for the family.

Thus, Winston discovered this Tesla Model 3 at a wrecking yard and was thrilled to take on the challenge.

After the incident, the car was declared a total loss and was up for sale.

However, Winston saw the potential and decided to create the cheapest Tesla Model 3 in the US.

He dedicated three months to the car in his garage, bringing the wrecked piece to life.

As it was his starting project, Winston faced a lot of challenges but learned a lot about cars and their restoration.

The whole story of Winston and his restored Tesla car is documented on YouTube by Wham Baam Teslacam.

The guy spent around $9000 on the car parts and around $1000 on taxes – the total expenditure on the project was roughly around $25,000.

However, his love for Tesla cars paid off, and he created a new car for his family.

He has even applied for a job in the company.

In other Tesla mysteries, detailers drove from Ohio to Illinois to clean a Tesla Model S but found something bizarre in the cabin.

Meanwhile, this YouTuber built the first-ever V8 Tesla by swapping out the motor for an engine.
