A group of Russians known for taking on outlandish experiments recently took on another challenge – but this time involving a supersized Lada.
The team created an enlarged Lada car with two engines, hoping it would hit the ground running.
After customizing the car, they took it out on the roads and test its drifting power.
Let’s just say that the results were impressive.

Normal sedans only have one engine
Sedans can range from daily drivers to nippy speedsters and are made by various car companies.
In fact, our very own Alex Hirschi – Supercar Blondie herself – recently experienced the Lagonda Taraf, the world’s most expensive sedan, which you can watch above.
Plus, Volkswagen even tried to take on Tesla with its first fully electric sedan.
However, this Lada sedan will blow your mind, thanks to its unique modifications and double engines.
Enter the supersized Lada
The guys over on the Garage 54 YouTube channel have given this Lada a complete internal overhaul.
But, it wasn’t their first rodeo, as they had previously created projects including a motorized steam bath and even a wooden Mercedes G-Class.
This time, they’ve manage to customize a Lada to allow it to have two engines to bring double the power to its wheels.
But that’s not even the best part.
It can fit the whole family in, too.
The customization of the Lada was a big process
As you can imagine, it can’t have been an easy task to make two engines work in harmony, with all different switches, gauges and clocks having to match up and work alongside each other.
But the team managed to pass the challenge with flying colors.
The inside of the car even boasted a chandelier – talk about combining luxury and performance.
Could the Lada drift?
The real test was seeing if the Lada would even start, let alone be able to drift.
Luckily, it was good news all around as the car’s engines came into play.
In fact, the car even managed to reach 30km/h (18mph) and drift in the snowy conditions.
The lucky driver couldn’t believe it – noting that ‘[this] thing can drive sideways, and that is a massive success.’
Plus, the car really was fit for a family, as nine members of crew managed to cram into the cabin.
Overall – the supersized Lada was a big success, apart from a few slight driving difficulties and noisy output.
