A Red Bull pilot has landed a plane on a tiny pier in a true edge-of-your-seat stunt.

The soft drink giant isn’t afraid of performing incredible stunts, and aircraft make up a large portion of those.

That pier measured just 150 meters in length, so the pilot certainly had a challenge ahead of him to land his plane.

But pilot Luke Czepiela was able to do it to perfection. Red Bull showed off his feat in a video across their social media, including TikTok.

How the incredible stunt unfolded

The video shows the aircraft piloted by Luke Czepiela coming in low and slow towards the pier.

An excited crowd watched as the Red Bull liveried plane gently touched down, before swaying from side to side.

The swaying looked fraught, however, it didn’t take long for the plane to settle down.

As it slowed down, Czepiela brought the aircraft to a halt, and everything looked very calm as he sat inside the cockpit.

The video highlights how tight the ‘runway’ actually was, with very little space on the pier on either side of the plane.

In fact, the pier’s width seemed to be a bigger issue than its length!

Red Bull is famous for its stunts

Red Bull is no stranger to wild stunts and PR videos, with the company pulling off some amazing feats in the past.

For example, former F1 driver David Coulthard performed donuts in a Red Bull F1 car on the Burj Al Arab hotel helipad.

Another athlete, Robbie Maddison, performed a wild stunt in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The stunt saw him jump onto the top of the Las Vegas Arc de Triomphe, and then jump back down again.

It’s also had someone navigate a bike over a moving train.

Plus, the company had someone jump into a volcano’s lava pit before climbing back out again.

The energy drinks giant also hosts its superb Soapbox races.

These events see people from all over the world create custom, gravity-powered cars.

They then race them down a hill while trying to survive in one piece.

In other words, if you’ve ever thought about it, Red Bull has likely done it!
