Recently, one of the legendary cars was found dumped in a field.

Toyota Supra: The most iconic car from the series?
If you, like us, love the early Fast & Furious films, then you’ll know that a few cars stick out.
For example, Dominic Toretto’s classic, all-black Dodge Charger might well spring to mind.
Han’s Mazda RX-7 with the Veilside body kit from Tokyo Drift could well be another.
Brian O’Conner’s Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 also remains a true icon from the franchise.
But few cars stand above, or even next to, the Toyota Supra in terms of iconic status.
The now legendary Mark IV Toyota Supra was originally used by the late Paul Walker’s character, Brian. in the first movie.
In it, the bright Orange Supra is used to race Dominic Toretto’s Charger.
‘Slap Jack’ Supra from 2 Fast 2 Furious remains divisive
For many people, 2 Fast 2 Furious is one of their favourite films from the entire saga.
The sophomore film focused on Paul Walker’s character, as well as introducing Tyrese Gibson to the series.
The opening half-hour of this film is often cited as one of the best parts of any Fast & Furious movie.
One of the stars of that sequence is the Toyota Supra, driven by the character ‘Slap Jack.’
In said opening sequence, Ludacris invited Brian to compete in an iconic street race.
Brian, who brings his Skyline, manages to win against the others, including the ‘Slap Jack’ Supra.
Recently, Craig Lieberman released a YouTube video discussing the ‘Slap Jack’ version of the Supra.
Lieberman acted as technical advisor for the first two films, so he’s more qualified than anyone.
He offers a very interesting insight, explaining that the second Supra was more modified than the first.
Craig goes on to say that every car, except for the Hero 1 original car, was a carryover Supra unit from the first film.
Additionally, due to the success of the first movie, Craig could go much more extreme for the second build.
Stunt Supra damaged in bridge jump
For those of you who remember the movie, you’ll definitely know the bridge jump scene.
It was one of the mundane stunt cars that actually did the jump in the movie.
Whilst the scene was partly CGI, the scene was also partly real.
In it, the front end of the Supra is absolutely destroyed by the jump.
As a result, this stunt car, among others, was sold off.
Years later, Craig found a photograph of the car sitting, abandoned, in the field.
Sadly, this is a fate that often befalls movie cars.
People buy them intending to restore them, before realizing the true cost involved.
We can only hope that, one day, the ‘Slap Jack’ Supra is bought and restored to its former glory.
