This C7 Corvette isn’t just another sports car – it’s been transformed into a purpose-built drag racer capable of jaw-dropping speeds.

Unbelievably, it has reached 200mph in just 3.5 seconds – faster than most cars can hit 60mph.

Obviously, it was not a factory-built Corvette; instead, it was transformed from a regular car to this beast.

The wild transformation even made everyone argue about the car no longer being a C7 Corvette in any meaningful way. But it remained true to its purpose – putting other cars to shame in drag races.

The car, built in 2014, had smashed through multiple records since its creation and had claimed victory in countless drag races.

Well, what else do you expect from a car with a 526ci V8 engine, paired with a massive twin-screw supercharger, that can churn out an incredible 3,800 horsepower?

Its brutal performance even led to its shift from its original class, forcing it to compete in tougher categories.

The video of the customized C7 Corvette in action is featured on YouTube by Ridiculous Rides, who earlier revealed their unique Lincoln monster truck limo.

Ridiculous Rides

As soon as the car sped off at high speeds, it left behind massive clouds of smoke, a clear sign of its incredible performance.

The backstory of the car is what makes it even more amazing.

The story behind the car’s creation

The car was created by a father and son duo who ran a salvage yard in Baltimore.

The father initially knew little about drag racing but learned through trial and error, passing on his knowledge to his son, Mike Decker III.

Ridiculous Rides

“My car is fast, bad to the bone, and always on edge. It’s the ultimate ride because in an eighth of a mile, I’m running over 200mph.” Mike said in an interview.

His words hold true – after all, this isn’t your average every day Corvette.
