Porsche owner refuses to wash 911 Gt3 RS as the dirtier the car is the more it stands out

The owner of a Porsche 911 GT3 RS has decided against keeping his sports car clean and has let dirt and grime dramatically alter the appearance of their prized possession.

Photographs posted on the ‘technology’ Instagram page showcase the 911 GT3 RS in all its dirty glory, parked in a car park in Dubai.

The vast majority of the dirt seems confined to the Porsche’s hood and rear section.

Remarkably, this isn’t out of laziness; it is a deliberate attempt to make the Porsche stand out as much as possible, contrary to what many of us would likely do, which is to clean whatever vehicle we drive regularly.

The Instagram post states the owner has kept the 911 GT3 RS dirty in an effort to differentiate it from other cars, whether in terms of performance or otherwise.

As you would expect, the vast majority of performance car owners in Dubai or around the world are highly likely to keep their cars as clean as possible.

This Porsche on Instagram, however, will undoubtedly stand out.

The 911’s hood/frunk is covered in all manner of dirt, dust, and sand, resulting in large amounts of graffiti and inscriptions.

As if to highlight its current state, the front of the 911 has the word “mess” written in block capitals, among other words and interesting symbols.

It’s a bit perplexing why the owner has decided a dirty 911 is the best 911, especially a GT3 RS.

The 911 GT3 RS is one of the ultimate versions of the Porsche sports car, packing a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six.

The flat-six produces 502 horsepower and 347 lb-ft of torque, screaming at its 9,000rpm redline.

As with other 911 versions, the GT3 RS has been critically acclaimed, and Porsche even takes inspiration from Formula 1 cars when it comes to its aerodynamics.

The GT3 RS’s 0-60 mph time is also pretty fierce, with it reaching that speed in just under three seconds.

Naturally, so much power and performance doesn’t come cheap, with the 911 GT3 RS currently costing $222,5000 in its base form.
