People have been left impressed by seeing how the burgers are presented at Los Angeles new Tesla diner.

The eagerly anticipated diner opened up in LA earlier this week.

The diner is an interesting mix of retro and ultra-modern, and looks a bit like a mash-up between a 1950s diner and a spaceship.

As well as offering food, including burgers and hot dogs, the diner also has movie screens and Superchargers.

In typical Tesla style, the diner drummed up plenty of attention before it even opened it doors.

Plans for a diner were first announced seven years ago, but now it’s finally here and welcoming guests.

The menu for the new Tesla diner features standard American diner fare, like a burger for $13.50, a hot dog for $13, fried chicken and waffles priced at $13, and milkshakes for $8 apiece.

There are also sides, including ‘epic’ bacon for $12, and a Wagyu beef chili cup that’ll cost you $8, as well as a bowl of beef tallow fries for $4.

Since it was shared online, the menu has garnered a mixed reaction from folks on social media.

However, it’s not the food that has got some folks talking, but how the burger is presented: inside a tiny Cybertruck.

“If you order a burger at the Tesla Diner, it comes in a Cybertruck,” someone wrote on the Tesla Club Facebook page.

“Say what you want about Tesla, but what other automakers is doing stuff this cool?”

Others commented to say they wanted to get their hands on one and that they could become collector’s items.

While someone else joked that the marque had ‘finally figured out how to sell the Cybertruck’, seemingly as nod to the recent highly publicized troubles the EV truck has had.

“The presentation of the food was totally unexpected,” another customer wrote on X.

“The Cybertruck food box was sweet.”

It is pretty cute, isn’t it?

Serving food with a side of a tech

As well as being able to charge your EV and grab a bite to eat, the new diner is also a bit of a showcase for the brand’s tech.

The popcorn machines are operated by Optimus robot servers, who have been seen fist-bumping customers before grabbing them a bucket of popcorn.

Tesla boss Elon Musk has also posted on X to say Optimus bots will be used to bring your food to your car as of next year.
