This Range Rover restomod is built by a company based in Maranello, where Ferrari is also based.
The company in question is called Vinile and it specializes in restomodded and modernized classic Range Rovers.
Only 15 units will be built.
But the price is outrageous.

A Range Rover that costs the same as a Ferrari
Maranello-based Vinile is offering three types of engine for the Range Rover.
All three are original Land Rover V8 engines, but all three are modified and modernized, although the company didn’t really explain how.
Still, the bottom line is you can opt for a 3.5-liter, 3.9-liter, or 4.3-liter V8.
The Range Rover looks normal from the outside, but that’s definitely not the case when it comes to the interior.
You’ve got a massive wristwatch incorporated into the dashboard, where you can also find an equally sizable 10.1-inch infotainment display.
As for materials used, Vinile – which is Italian for vinyl – used a lot of Alcantara and some leather.
But ironically, no vinyl.
Production is limited to 15 units, and the price is unbelievable.
Vinile is charging €280,000 ($309,000) for one of these.
When restomods cost more than the original
A restomod is essentially a classic car reengineered and modified to fit the modern world.
We’ve got restomods based on the Porsche 911, the Maserati Shamal, there’s even one that combines a Jeep Wagoneer and a Ferrari.
The problem is these modified vehicle often cost more than the original, just like this Vinile Range Rover.
And this price isn’t even that bad when you compare it to other equivalent vehicles.
For example there’s the Eccentrica, a Lamborghini Diablo-based restomod that costs $1.3 million.
For the record, the Diablo has a current average market value of around $350,000.
