Michael Jordan’s long-lost Ferrari 512 TR is finally going home to Italy, the birthplace of the supercar brand, after 15 years in hiding.
The basketball legend was the proud owner of the Ferrari in the ’90s before the car continued its journey wth another gearhead.
However, the car actually disappeared in 2010.
But it was rediscovered by a team of car experts after 15 years in the abyss. So in true supercar fashion, it’s returned to Italy, the origin of the Ferrari marque.

Many sports stars are fans of cars and luxury items like superyachts and sprawling mansions.
For example, NFL star Aaron Rodgers’ teammate shared how he lent him his private jet and saved him $30k in a drastic situation.

But basketball legend Michael Jordan’s love of cars actually had a sad ending.
You see, the star was once the proud owner of a Ferrari 512 TR. But the car actually vanished in 2010.
The basketball star owned the car in the ’90s before it disappeared into the abyss – and the Ferrari 512 TR has been a mystery ever since the 2010s.

But, all was not lost as the team over at Curated found the famous car, and the condition wasn’t actually that bad, all things considered.
After discovering the car, the team has now revealed that it’s being returned to Italy – where the idea of Ferrari actually came to life.
“It has left us, it is on the way back to Italy to Zanasi,” explained one of the creators.
“If you don’t know what Zanasi is, they are the outfit that paints all of the Ferrari supercars, they handle all of the tailor-made cars. They are in the Ferrari campus and they are at the birthplace where the cars are born.
“So it’s only appropriate that car goes back to Italy and the restoration begins,” they added.
The guys explained that they’ll share updates on the Ferrari 512 TR, so fellow gearheads can keep up to date.
Michael Jordan’s no stranger to the luxury lifestyle, though. He has a $70 million private jet featuring a $500,000 custom paint job, and even owns a $115 million superyacht.
