Mark Zuckerberg was seen wearing an F.P. Journe watch while announcing a Meta AI update.
This is a $700,000 watch, worth more than most supercars in the world.
Then again, we shouldn’t be surprised anymore.
Zuckerberg is now a watch guy.

This watch is incredible
Zuckerberg took to Instagram, like he always does, to make a new announcement regarding Meta, and this time it had to do with Meta AI.
Keen-eyed viewers immediately noticed the F.P. Journe Vagabondage in 6N Gold watch on his wrist, one of only 68 in existence.
The timepiece is manufactured by F.P. Journe, an independent Swiss watch designer and maker founded by a French designer, just like Richard Mille.
And just like Richard Mille watches, F.P. Journe watches are difficult to buy.
This watch had a retail price of $100,000 but, like most watches of this caliber, you can no longer get it at retail, which means you’re going to have to turn to the secondary market.
And this watch is now worth around $700,000 on that market.
Ouch.
Meta’s founder and CEO is worth $176 billion at the time of writing, so a $700,000 spend isn’t even a drop in a bucket.
In fact, it’s not even a drop in the ocean for him.
Who is this guy and what has he done to Mark Zuckerberg?
Zuckerberg is now a cool guy, and he’s a watch guy, too.
We don’t know why, but the founder of Facebook recently decided to chuck his nerdy, plain shirt-wearing old self out of the window and replace it with this new cool guy image.
Zuckerberg now wears gold necklaces and gold watches.
Some speculate it all started when Zuckerberg was apparently genuinely impressed by Anant Ambani’s watch.
Maybe.
What matters is that Zuckerberg is now acting like he’s rich, which used to be strange for a guy like him.
He’s now flexing watches on Instagram, buying custom Porsche minivans for his wife, and new yachts.
Good for him.
