Mansory took Mercedes’ quietest off-roader and gave it the loudest face possible

Mansory is back doing what it does best.

This time, the aftermarket marque has got its hands on an electric Mercedes G-Wagen.

The electric G-Wagen is the quietest off-roader in the Mercedes range.

It’s now much louder following the Mansory makeover.

Mansory is a company that’s known and respected across the car world.

It was founded back in 1989 by Iranian native Kourosh Mansory.

The tuning marque found its first home in Munich, Germany.

By the early noughties, the marque had grown massively in popularity as a company.

Such growth led to a much greater need for expansion – so Mansory did just that.

The marque currently works out of a flagship workshop in Brand, Germany.

The brand originally focused on work concerning British brands such as Rolls-Royce.

It eventually evolved into working on iconic Italian brands such as Ferrari.

Now, though, the company’s artists work on almost every major car brand in the world.

And one of its most frequent partners is fellow German brand Mercedes.

Unlike other custom works, this one is actually an EV.

It is, in fact, the all-electric Mercedes G-Wagen G 580.

Unveiled over a year ago, the EV G-Wagen has been handed over to Mansory.

And it has turned this EV into something extremely…loud.

The exterior is home to a new, reworked front bumper that comes with a chunky chin spoiler.

A new front grille can be found at the front with the Mansory logo emblazoned within it.

Reworked side skirts, a rear multi-fin diffuser, and new mirror caps can also be found.

It also added new, massive 24-inch wheels to this G-Wagen behemoth.

As is standard for Mansory, the powerplant features some slight, subtle upgrades.

Four electric motors produce a total of 580HP, as well as 859LB-FT of torque.

This might well be the brand’s first entry into putting its touch on an EV model.

But it can safely be assured that it likely won’t be the last.
