Some problems are nicer to have than others, and the issues that this UK-based car content creator encountered after buying the world’s lowest mileage Lamborghini Murcielago serve as the perfect example.

The world’s lowest-mileage right-hand drive LP640 is a supercar with a 6.5 liter V12 engine that produces 631 horsepower.

Plus it had only 228 miles on the odometer in the 18 years since it was registered – not even a full tank of fuel.

However, it’s such hot property that it’s burning its current owner’s fingers.

After purchasing the rare Lamborghini Murciélago LP640, Mr JWW aka James Walker, had originally planned to convert it to a right-hand drive.

This modification would elevate the car’s driving experience and make the supercar even more authentic.

“Factory original manual cars are like unicorns and if you do find one the cost of them is ludicrous,” Walker said.

“It’s the most incredible engaging purest driver experience.”

However, he faced a problem with the ‘brand new old car’.

A nice problem to have

While, of course, he had anticipated and hoped for interest in the car – he never expected such a huge response.

After announcing the purchase, collectors flooded him with messages, urging him not to modify or even drive it.

“Collectors have reached out to me in the DMs in bucket loads,” he said.

Some collectors even offered Walker 40 percent above his purchase price to take it off his hands.

So why is this car such a find?

Every detail of the car is meticulously documented, with original accessories including leather Lamborghini service gloves, manuals, and even factory-fit tires from 2006.

It’s like a true time capsule of Lamborghini history.

His current dilemma? Whether to preserve, sell, or modify, and drive the coveted car.

“I almost feel like I’m a custodian of it, preserving it for the future,” he said.

He’s opened a poll in the comment section to allow his followers to have their say.
