This guy tried selling a Porsche 911 Targa and got an offer that was a lot lower than expected.

He’d spent a lot of money on his Porsche, and even more on mods.

Ironically, the mods did most of the damage and tarnished the car’s value.

There was one thing he did in particular that cost him a lot of cash.

Why this Porsche 911 Targa is worth less than expected

In theory, you can trade in your old smartphone for a new one, considering nearly every manufacturer out there gives you that option.

In practice, you can do it, but be ready to feel like you’ve been shortchanged.

The problem with this ‘business model’, if we want to call it that, is that everything is a worst-case scenario to the company.

For example, a Tesla Model Y owner found out the hard way that his mint Model Y wasn’t that mint after all. In fact, it was only worth half of its original cost because it wasn’t as perfect as he thought it was.

YouTuber and business owner Yiannimize experienced something similar when he tried to have his Porsche 911 Targa appraised.

He bought his Por,sche 911 Targa for just $100,000 but then spent $13,000 on mods that made things worse.

He fitted a new spoiler, a new rear diffuser and new wheels, and he had the whole car wrapped in blue vinyl.

The problem is that all of the above are aftermarket, and aftermarket mods affect the car’s value.

The wrap alone, according to WeBuyAnyCar reduces the car’s value by nearly $7,000.

This guy also happens to be the first Cybertruck owner in the UK

Yianni is a car collector and YouTuber who went viral after becoming the first Cybertruck owner in the UK.

He documented his misadventures with the Cybertruck with several videos on his channel.

There are several reasons why Cybertruck is not legal in Europe, chief among which is the vehicle’s steer-by-wire design.

Yianni bought one and spent months, and of course a lot of money, modifying it to make it legal in the UK.

The whole thing turned into a nightmare when one of Yianni’s friends, also a UK-based Cybertruck owner, had his truck seized by the police.

And it gets worse because, to add insult to injury, the police ended up seizing the truck for a potential issue Yianni and his friend hadn’t even spotted yet.
