Cars with a low mileage are treasured within the automotive community, as it increases their value.

On the opposite end of the scale, cars with super high mileage like this 1966 Volvo 1800S, are bestowed with world records.

But this Camaro could well be one of the lowest mileage cars ever seen on the road.

Why might this Camaro have been given up after 10 miles?

As one of 24 units made in this Nitro Yellow Metallic, it’s fair to say that this Camaro was a rare find.

It went for auction and sold for $80,500, a light increase on the original price of $76,980.

And with only 10 miles on the clock, this car is basically brand new.

Given that the original owner gave it up after barely driving the distance between San Francisco and Oakland, you might expect there to be something wrong with this car.

But that certainly isn’t the case.

We can imagine there must have been some sort of cash incentive to get a brand-new car and sell it for a profit.

The car itself is a real stand-out, even when compared to its Camaro siblings.

Its 6.2-liter LT4 V8 engine produces 650hp and 650lb-ft of torque, allowing the driver to hit 0-97km/h/0-60mph in an eye-watering 3.5 seconds.

Should you want to pass a quarter mile, you could do so in a staggering 11.4 seconds at a speed of 204km/h (127mph).

But it’s not just a speed demon, it’s also a total beauty.

Camaros are pretty special regardless of the generation, especially when they have sentimental value attached to them – just look at this son gifting his dad a 1968 model as proof of that.

At the other end of the scale, the world’s highest-mileage cars have gone even further than you could have ever imagined.

The car has a sunroof, HID (High-Intensity Discharge) headlights and a set of stunning Dark Graphite alloy wheels.

On the inside, the driver is treated to heated and ventilated leather seats, courtesy of RECARO Automotive.

The detailing is immaculate, with red stitching and suede microfiber giving the car a classy but cool edge.

There are also a ton of cool features installed within the car, including a rear mirror camera, wireless charging, and a Bose sound system.

You could certainly do a lot worse.

Hopefully, the new owner will enjoy their new ride – but if they’re looking to sell it further down the road, they might want to be wary about adding too many figures onto the clock.

At lower miles, it’s expected this model will sell for six-digit figures in years to come.
