It’s safe to say that he was impressed with the hydrogen-powered vehicle.

YouTuber The MacMaster tested out the Toyota Mirai to see if the technology really had legs.

“I feel quite honored,” the creator said as he got behind the wheel.

There was one feature that caught him off guard from the start.

“I genuinely am shocked that there is no noise, no engine noise,” he said.

There was a lot more about the car that left him pleasantly surprised.

“The steering is very light, quite responsive,” he explained as he drove the vehicle.

He even compared parts of the car to a Porsche.

So, it was rave reviews for the Toyota Mirai, which the creator said took only five minutes to fill up.

Toyota is, of course, proud of its hydrogen creation, claiming its ‘eye-catching design effortlessly blends with innovative new technology’.

Toyota has plenty of projects on the go

From daily drivers to supercar concepts, the brand has done it all, and many gearheads praise its fleet in different corners of the globe.

For example, the new Toyota Le Mans hydrogen concept is a 200mph move against electric supercars.

Plus, people are even calling for Toyota to make this luxurious Century SUV pickup truck concept a reality.

Would you opt for a hydrogen-powered car as technology evolves? Or are you sticking to your humble gas-powered run-about?
