There is an outrageous number of abandoned supercars hiding in secret locations all across the city of Los Angeles, and one guy is out and about to find them all.

During his little adventure, he found gold mines — yes, more than one.

These abandoned supercars are a far cry from any collection just because of the sheer variations of cars.

So, which cars are hiding in LA?

Gold mines full of abandoned supercars in Los Angeles

YouTuber effspot is a hardcore motorhead, and he embarked on a journey to find supercars in LA.

You could say he has a knack for this sort of stuff because it certainly wasn’t his first rodeo.

He previously encountered several garages in Los Angeles brimming with abandoned supercars.

It wasn’t just LA, either — the YouTuber once investigated an abandoned Japanese supercar dealership with countless icons and JDM cars.

In the video he posted about LA, he came across some timeless gems that were plainly sitting in garages with nobody around to see them.

He visited a total of three garages in this video, but the first one effortlessly takes the win.

Why is that, you ask?

effspot

What he found was nowhere close to a car collection, even absurdly large ones owned by billionaires.

From classic Mercedes and BMWs to modern-day Maserati, Rolls-Royce, and Bentley models, this place had it all.

Oh, and there was an entire mini-collection of fairly recent Porsches, too.

What’s the story behind these?

What stood out the most here was the range of cars — you cannot fit them all in one category.

For instance, the Porsches and Maseratis are clearly performance cars.

However, the Rolls-Royces, Bentleys, and old-school Mercedes are on a more luxurious tangent.

Judging by the vast differences, it’s safe to say that these might have been a storage space for cars used in movies and TV shows.

Some collectors have exclusive collections with only movie cars in them, so there’s that.

Since Los Angeles itself is home to Hollywood, this doesn’t come as a surprise.

It could also be long-term storage for cars from different owners, but we obviously don’t have all the details.

The other locations effspot visited included entire floors of excess stock from Subaru and Kia dealerships, but there were also some rare gems.

By that, we mean icons like the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider, a handful of custom Mustangs, and SUVs like the G-Wagen and Rubicon.

We’ve seen our fair share of barn finds with decades-old cars, and this isn’t anywhere close to that.

Well, you could call this a modern-day barn find, but it might need a different naming scheme.

Honestly, there were too many abandoned supercars to mention them all, so we recommend watching the video above to see what the garages of Los Angeles are hiding.
