Man built a three story raft to float down the Missouri River and have the most fun ever

This guy built a DIY raft that he used to float down the Missouri River in Montana.

The three-story raft looks remarkable for a DIY job.

More to the point, it also looks like a very nice place to be.

Almost like a proper houseboat.

A YouTuber who goes by David Rule built a massive triple-decker raft for a 100-mile journey down the Missouri River, namely the part that flows through Montana.

In order to do this, he also decided to call three guys from another YouTube channel – Boys With The Bus – for extra help.

The raft is 16 feet wide, basically as wide as two Humvees parked side by side, and 30 feet long.

The structure utilises more than 30 55-gallon drums for buoyancy, along with boards for its main framework.

It consists of three stories, each of which is like a designated area in a house, and it has rooms as well.

You’ve got the first floor, which is like a yard with an entrance, and then you’ve got the second floor, the main part of the ‘building’.

Then, on top of that (literally, in this case), they also built the third floor, which is basically like an attic, but it doubles as a terrace and a rooftop.

The interior was designed to resemble a house, with white-painted walls, porthole-style plexiglass windows, armchairs and even hammocks.

There’s more, because they also added a fridge, fishing gear, and even a mini-golf setup.

As far as DIY creations go, this is up there with the best of them, possibly along with the absurd three-wheeled vehicle created by this genius in Idaho, or the DIY yacht built by a man in Oklahoma.
