Bill Nunn bought his first-ever Subaru three decades ago.

Since then, he’s stuck with the brand, saying that the vehicles have ‘never let him down’.

Nunn recently collected his 26th Subaru, opting for a sixth-generation Forester.

Occasionally, you’ll come across a car enthusiast who shows unwavering dedication to his favorite brand, like this bloke who has amassed a mind-blowing number of Ferraris, including The Big Five, or this man who bought 24 Aston Martin Lagondas.

For UK-based Bill Nunn, the marque that gets his loyalty is Subaru.

He bought his first one, a Legacy Estate, back in 1995, and 30 years on, he’s just picked up his 26th.

Over the decades, Nunn has owned numerous Legacy and Impreza models, as well as several Foresters, including a turbocharged XT and his new Field spec sixth-generation one.

Not only has he remained incredibly loyal to the carmaker, Nunn has also always returned to the same dealership – Adams Brothers in Aylesbury – every time.

Explaining why he chooses to go back to the Japanese brand time and time again, Nunn said they’re ‘just great cars’.

“Since buying my first Subaru, the cars have certainly become more modern, capable and spacious, but the core values that set Subaru apart have remained,” he said.

“Subarus are just great cars: always a pleasure to drive, comfortable, reliable, and safe. In 30 years covering hundreds of thousands of miles for both work and private use – in all manner of conditions – Subaru has never let me down.”

To celebrate their loyal customer, Subaru thanked Nunn for his ongoing loyalty to the brand.

“We at Subaru UK & Ireland are proud to have a fantastic base of loyal customers across the country – owners that have put their faith in our vehicles over many decades,” a spokesperson said.

“Bill might just be the most loyal of all, and we’re honored to have delivered his 26th Subaru.”
