A Louisiana man has put 1,000,000 miles on a Toyota Tundra, but it’s not the first time.
Victor Sheppard is no stranger to crossing off auto achievements.
But this one really has taken things to a new level.
He completed a monumental amount of road miles in a daily driver, but it’s not his first time.

Toyotas are a staple drive in many people’s daily lives
The Japanese car brand makes many models, and it’s safe to say that many auto lovers are fans.

In fact, one of its fleet, the Land Cruiser, looks normal but can actually withstand explosions and bullets.
Plus, another American man bought a Toyota Corolla for $2 and then took it to an expert who said why you should never get rid of them – meaning the brand has the professional seal of approval too.
But, this man took his love to a whole new level by adding an impressive amount of miles to his Toyota
This wasn’t his first rodeo with his Toyota Tundra
Victor Sheppard is known for racking up the miles in cars – and previously added 1,000,000 miles in his 2007 Tundra.
The achievement took him nine years, and the news of his driving actually reached the Japanese car maker itself.
Once the auto house heard about Victor and his passion for the open road, it actually came in with a surprise.
They offered Victor a replacement car – a new 2016 Tundra Limited Crew Cab for the 2007 banger.
The best bit, though? The 2016 model was also his 16th ever Toyota – talk about tempting fate.
He did however, actually buy a 2014 model to stand in for the 2007 auto as it was about to smash the million-mile mark, but kept that for work use after the maker came in with its kind offer.
He put another 1,000,000 miles on the clock of another Tundra
Victor passed the monumental amount of miles on April 9th, 2025, in the 5.7-liter V-8 Tundra Double cab, which you have to admit is no mean feat.
The achievement was actually made in the 2014 model he bought before the gift from Toyota – proving his dedication.
The question we want answered, though, is what milestone distance will he cross next, and in what model of Toyota?
