A $9,000 Rolex stolen from Keanu Reeves’ Los Angeles home was discovered 5,600 miles away in Chile a year later.
The superstar reportedly had the watch stolen from his LA pad following a break-in in late 2023.
But in a twist worthy of a Hollywood flick, the Rolex resurfaced in Chile a year later.
It was one of a number of stolen watches uncovered by authorities.

The Rolex Submariner was stolen from Keanu Reeves’ home last year
The actor’s Rolex Submariner watch was engraved with his first name and the words: ‘2021, JW4, thank you, The John Wick Five’.
The watch was one of several the actor is said to have forked out for and had engraved to give to the stuntmen working on John Wick: Chapter 4 – a movie Reeves himself put a lot of training into.
So, we can only imagine his disappointment at discovering it had been stolen from his home last year.
According to the Los Angeles Times, burglars entered the property through the backyard and broke a window to gain access while Reeves was away from home.
It’s unclear exactly what was taken but it appears that he lost at least one valuable Rolex.
Now just this month, authorities in Chile have confirmed that the $9,000 Rolex has been recovered in eastern Santiago.
The watch was found hundreds of miles away
Chilean authorities said that the haul of stolen watches recovered included one ‘belonging to a famous actor who was [the] victim of a robbery in Los Angeles in December 2023’, CNN reported.
The watch, authorities said, ‘has an inscription referring to the actor Keanu Reeves’.
Police in Chile told local media that a 21-year-old man has been arrested in relation to the stolen watch.
Cops in Chile will now work with their US counterparts to ‘investigate and attribute responsibility to specific individuals, whether Chilean or foreign, depending on what the investigation dictates’, CNN Chile reported.
Hopefully, the Rolex will be winging its way back to its rightful owner ASAP.
