The Joker star Joaquin Phoenix has reportedly had his $60,000 Volvo SUV stolen from outside his home in Los Angeles.
The 2022 Volvo SUV had been parked right outside the actor’s home on Monday, April 28, when it was taken.
The missing car was noticed by one of his employees, who then reported it to the cops.
LA police are now investigating the theft.

Sadly, car theft is an all too common occurrence, and even Hollywood stars aren’t immune – just ask Keanu Reeves, who had his 911 Porsche stolen while he was away filming a movie.
More recently, Oscar-winning star Joaquin Phoenix was also reportedly away from his home when his 2020 Volvo SUV was stolen.
The vehicle was noticed missing from outside his home by an employee who got in touch with the LA police, according to TMZ.
Although the car was reported missing Monday afternoon, it’s unclear if it was taken earlier that day or if it could have been stolen during the night.
So far, there have been no arrests, and the investigation into the theft is ongoing.
The model of the Volvo hasn’t been disclosed, but the report claims it’s from 2020 and costs $60,000.
The 50-year-old has previously been snapped driving a Volvo XC90, which costs around that price point.
While a Volvo SUV is a fairly humble choice for a superstar like Phoenix, his The Joker: Folie à Deux co-star Lady Gaga – real name Stefani Germanotta – has a much more high-end collection.
The singer and actor owns some seriously gorgeous vehicles, including a sleek and stylish Lincoln Continental Convertible from 1965, a 1967 Ford Mustang in Ivy Green, a Lamborghini Huracán Lp 610-4, a Tesla Cybertruck, and a Porsche Boxster. Not bad, right?
