Lamborghini has unveiled yet another one-off supercar – or Opera Unica as they call it – which is based on the Revuelto and built through their Ad Personam program.

This one is built for the Chinese market, and – they say – inspired by ‘speed, power and artistry’.

It took over 480 hours to complete the bodywork.

As you’re about to see, it was time well spent.

Opera Unica is Italian for ‘unique work of art’, and it’s easy to tell why they picked this particular moniker for supercars like this.

This one was built for a Chinese collector who decided to have their Revuelto customized using China’s signature color – red – as the main theme.

Based on the Revuelto, the new car combines three shades of vivid red and orange, known as Rosso Mars, Arancio Dac and Arancio Apodis.

The intricate fading effect also includes Nero Pegaso and Rosso Efesto.

As for the cabin, Lambo opted for Nero Ade and Rosso Efesto.

As we’ve mentioned, the bodywork took 480 hours to complete, but the interior required an additional 53 hours of work, too.

About Lamborghini’s Ad Personam customization program

Lamborghini’s customization program is called Ad Personam.

Literally translated, that’s Latin for ‘to a person’, but what it actually means is each vehicle is customized on an individual basis.

Lambo’s Ad Personam cars are always used to showcase what the company can do, but they’re also production one-offs that end up in the hands of high-end customers.

Lamborghini

This one was built for a collector in China, but Lambo has built a variety of Ad Personam cars through the years.

A while back, they built a fluorescent one-off in purple to celebrate the brand’s 60th anniversary.

On another occasion, Lambo built a one-off inspired by the Italian island of Sardinia.

Lamborghini

The Italian automaker doesn’t set any specific parameters for its Ad Personam cars, at least not publicly.

But, in order to find yourself in the position to order one, you need to have two things: a lot of cash, a garage full of Lambos.
