The owner of this iconic Ferrari Testarossa set off on an adventure on Scotland’s ultimate 2,000-mile road trip.
He decided to hit the North York Moors and ended in Scotland, using the West side of the famous NC500 road for his journey.
Unfortunately, he hit a snag at 700 miles which could have completely derailed his trip.
He did find a solution, but it wasn’t at all what he was expecting.

Driving Scotland’s ultimate 2,000-mile road trip
If you have been lucky enough to experience the stunning vistas and awesome landmarks of Scotland then you are a very lucky person indeed.
Not as lucky as this man, who got to drive it in one of the most iconic supercars of all time though.
Meet Harry Metcalfe, a man who is basically the ultimate petrolhead.
Not only did Harry decide to go on the ultimate road trip, but luckily for us, he documented the journey on his YouTube Channel, Harry’s Garage.
On his 2,000-mile road trip, Harry got the chance to see amazing Scottish landmarks like the stunning Eilean Donan Castle and Red Point Beach and the weather was uncharacteristically beautiful – he even saw some deer!

What’s it like driving an iconic Ferrari Testarossa?
Harry praised his Ferrari Testarossa for being such a smooth drive.
The man knows his supercars too, even being able to compare it to the Lamborghini Countach.
He said the Ferrari felt more special to him, and easier to drive thanks to better visibility, and compliant suspension.
However, disaster almost struck at around 700 miles into Scotland’s ultimate road trip when the iconic Ferrari Testarossa developed a high idle issue which he suspected was due to a faulty cold-start air valve.
Turns out that his problem was incredibly easy to fix because he discovered the carpet was jammed under the throttle pedal.
There is nothing like experiencing stunning views in a stunning car and one thing is for sure: Harry Metcalfe is one very lucky man.
