The 2025 Nexo boasts a sleek, aerodynamic design inspired by Hyundai’s ‘Art of Steel’ philosophy.
It features a bold new front fascia and advanced lighting elements, giving it a modern and dynamic appearance.
But it’s under the hood where Hyundai’s really changing things up.
Under the hood, the Nexo is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) system that delivers an impressive range of over 435 miles on a full tank.
Refueling takes just five minutes, making it much more convenient than most EVs, and putting it on par with traditional gasoline vehicles.
This is, of course, if you don’t have this particular BYD EV, which promises five minute charging.
Equipped with a new motor system and high-efficiency inverter, the Nexo delivers improved acceleration and smooth overtaking capabilities.
The system’s all-electric range (AER) offers competitive fuel efficiency, making it a practical choice for daily commutes and long-distance drives.
Inside the spacious cabin, you’ll see first-row Relaxation Seats, along with increased luggage capacity.
The Nexo also introduces Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, allowing it to power external devices, making it handy for outdoor adventures.
However, while the Nexo offers numerous benefits, hydrogen fueling infrastructure remains a challenge in many regions.

Hydrogen is also expensive, and difficult to store and transport.
