Two high-school friends spent decades putting together a collection of Corvette models in secret.
The story behind this collection is quite unique, because Bill and Bob were apparently going about collecting Corvettes in a totally different way.
While one was planning to sell them, the other one didn’t.
But they sort of didn’t tell each other that, at least not openly and not all the time, and as a result, a 21-car collection was created.

Four decades worth of Corvettes
Bill and Bob amassed 21 Corvettes, ranging from 1953 to 1991.
So the collection comprises different cars and decades, but also different degrees of care.
This is because some of these Corvettes are in great condition while others…not so much.
Unfortunately there’s a sad side to the story because Bill passed away recently.

Through the years, American automakers have produced a variety of incredible cars that became iconic.
Chevrolet has contributed to this particular chapter of American history with more than one model.
They gave us some iconic Camaros, some gorgeous Bel Air models, and of course there’s the Chevy Impala.
But the Corvette takes the crown.
When it was first launched, about four years ago, the Corvette C8 opened a new chapter for Chevy.
It was the first mid-engined Corvette in history, which is kind of a big deal and a significant change for a car that had already been around for seven decades and seven generations.
Then Chevy raised the bar again and defied conventions by launching the first hybrid Corvette.
But people still love it, no matter what.
