English YouTuber Joe Betty, AKA Shifting Metal was convinced he’d found a deal that was too good too be true.
When he saw that his dream car, a 2006 Aston Martin V8 Vantage was up for sale on auction, he decided to bid on it, and won it for just $20,000.
The only catch? He had never seen the car before.
After he dropped all that money on it sight unseen, he admitted he was pretty nervous to go and see the supercar.

Was it worth the money?
Joe’s first impressions of the car were relief and excitement, even though he saw that there were some cosmetic issues, a nearly empty fuel tank and most surprisingly some mismatching Volvo and Ford parts.
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage was in good shape overall, but it had some bubbling paint, scratches, and minor interior wear.
When he started driving the car, he was pleased with the driving experience, comparing it to the Porsche 911 in its smoothness and comfortability.
While he wasn’t blown away by the speed of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, he was surprised by how smooth and refined the ride felt.
Joe planned to refurbish the car and raffle it off to his followers so he could share the dream.
