Legendary TV chef Gordon Ramsay says he is embarrassed by his luxury car collection, but that hasn’t stopped him from picking a favorite between a Ferrari supercar and an Aston Martin.
Ramsay is most famous for his potty-mouth persona as one of the world’s leading chefs, but he is also a massive car enthusiast.
Over the years, he has built up an amazing collection of cars ranging from Ferraris to Aston Martins.
He owns 94 of them, which, while they do make him a little embarrassed, he still has one he would choose over all of the others.

Ramsay has stated that his favorite is the Aston Martin DB4, the car that came before the famous DB5.
The DB4 is just as good a car as its successor, and just as rare and valuable in 2025.
Aston Martin DB4s have been known to sell for over $2 million, depending on the variant.
Rarer versions such as the DB4 GT and DB4 GT Zagato can sell for even higher prices.
Ramsay recently spoke about his cars on the Smartless podcast, saying: “I’m embarrassed about the collection. I’ve been collecting for over 20 years. I think it’s about 94.”
Ramsay keeps all his cars in a purpose-built hangar, so they are stored correctly.
Ramsay doesn’t just keep them in his hangar, however.
The chef tries to drive them as much as possible, and he does take some of them onto the racetrack.
He said in the podcast that ‘three or four times a year we rent a track out’ and he brings his mates down with him.
The luxury car collection is kept in the UK, so Ramsay rents out iconic British tracks such as Thruxton and Silverstone.
The latter is, of course, home to the Formula 1 British Grand Prix.
Despite his love for the DB4, it is a close-run thing for the chef.
Ramsay also loves his Ferrari Daytona SP3 supercar, one of the best Ferraris of recent years.
The Ferrari Daytona SP3 has a 6.5-liter V12 under the hood, producing a huge 829hp.
The DB4 is a little more modest in its output, with 240hp and 240lb-ft of torque from its straight-six engine.
He may be embarrassed, but Gordon Ramsay is a true gearhead and loves both classic and modern supercars.
