He used the chassis, engine, and other components from the Porsche, and then built a VW Beetle on top of it.
The weird hybrid creature is now for sale.
But it’s not that cheap.

A man in the UK had a strange but fascinating idea, and decided to create a DIY Volkswagen Beetle.
In order to do this, he started by ripping apart a 1997 Porsche Boxster, which he used for the chassis, engine, ABS, cruise control, and a bunch of other things, including the gauges.
The flat-six engine in the Boxster used to produce 201HP, when it was new, but it may have lost a few since then.

At that point, he decided to slam the body of a 1967 Volkswagen Beetle on his 1997 Porsche Boxster chassis.
He calls this vehicle ‘Uno’, and he’s actually trying to sell it.
The asking price is £23,500 – equivalent to $31,000.

DIY creations are always entertaining, some might say they’re especially entertaining when they’re not that great, although this Beetle probably doesn’t fit that description.
From ‘official’ mods from renowned brands such as Liberty Walk to the 6×6 Rolls-Royce made from wood or DIY Lamborghini Terzo Millennio, it’s clear that everything is possible when people have talent and ideas.

Some people price it more or less right, and some don’t.
